| Helps you manage and edit Windows file associations. DLTypes reads the Windows Registry and displays all of the registered file types. You can sort the list either by file extension (e.g. ZIP, XLS) or by file type (e.g. WinZip File, Microsoft Excel Worksheet). You can modify the associated actions for each file type, add and remove file extensions, and change the default icon.A search function is included for finding files based on their extension or file type. After files are found you can perform standard file functions such as, view, edit, delete, copy, move, open, etc. and easily test changes by launching Windows Explorer. Other features include: automatic backup/restore of the Registry entries when deleting extensions or changing values, and the ability to print all your file types and their associations. |
